Case Studies

Learn how we helped two clients improve their electrical operations:

KFCBrightwell | Mooch

KFC

A leading fast food restaurant chain, global leaders in the chicken food category and famous world-wide!

What The Client Needed

A reliable contractor who completed projects on time and to budget, who could be flexible to work outside of operational hours and keep production running.

How We Helped

  • Initially working on smaller jobs to include changing a light fitting and finishing uncompleted works. Completed within 2 days of starting contract.

  • Two store refurbishments completed over the course of two nights to ensure the restaurants were still operational keep during the day.

The Outcome

The refurbishments were completed on time without disruption to store openings. PES is now responsible for more stores and work with KFC to mimimise any disruption.

Brightwell Dispensers Ltd

A leading global designer and manufacturer of innovative soap, chemicals and paper dispensers for the commercial sector.

What The Client Needed

Starting with two sites initially, Brightwell wanted a company capable of maintaining the electrical side of its business.

How We Helped

  • Created and implemented a series of modular electrical systems that allow Brightwell to change and move departments without any system shutdowns or interference with production line output.
  • Designed bespoke electrical solutions tailored to the client's exact specifications.
  • Gutted/stripped out current setups and reinstalled/rebuilt factory systems.

The Outcome

We are now responsible for all eight of Brightwell's sites, implementing and servicing new and existing systems on a permanent basis.

“PES's new systems have eliminated a host of problems, saving us time and money in the longterm.”

Stephen Woolmer, CEO, Bright-Tech Investments Ltd, Brightwell Dispensers Ltd & Inc.

Mooch

The award-winning hairdressers in the heart of Brighton.

What The Client Needed

With only two weeks before its new premises opened, Mooch was let down by its building contractor who failed to finish installing its new electrical systems – leaving the site in an unsafe state.

How We Helped

  • Worked nights and early mornings over a 14-day period to ensure the job was completed by Mooch's deadline.
  • Working nights also helped accommodate the beautician's next door so the noise from our operations didn't disturb their customers.
  • Stripped down and rewired antique 1920s ship lights that were to be featured in the store so they met lighting regulations.

The Outcome

The new premises were opened on time thanks to our effective time management and out-of-hours service.

“PES has restored our faith in tradespeople. The company helped us deal with a difficult situation at the last minute and delivered on time and budget, ensuring that we had a successful opening day.”
